Rescue Yourself First

Self-worth is the topic I have been exploring a lot lately.

Self worth does not ever come from the outside.

No-one can tell us we are good enough, we do a good enough job, unless we believe it first ourselves.

I was conditioned to provide where lack of self worth was there in others.

I used to over-give.

Support others where they felt lack, believing it made me worthy.

The truth - I was doing it for myself.  Hoping that if I gave enough, they would reciprocate.

That I would feel seen, chosen, safe. What I really wanted was to feel worthy and held.

And yes, sometimes I got something in return.

But often it was just a performance.

A version of connection that looked good, but felt….hollow.

So I had to learn to stop:

To stop interpreting every delay, every silence, every unread message as a reflection of me.

To stop driving myself crazy trying to manage their responses, instead of listening to my own inner voice.

Because when we are chasing validation, we miss our own inner-gifts.

The insight.

The messages that are trying to come through us.

We each have something we’re here to serve, but we can’t offer it fully if we are still waiting for permission.

That’s why I do the work I do now.

That’s why I have created Awaken the Queen Within

To help women return to that inner sense of value, not as an idea… but as a felt reality.
