Where have I abandoned myself in the name of care?
So many of us have learned to give, tend to and take responsibility beyond what is ours. We pour out energy for others, but quietly deplete ourselves.
Overcare and overgiving often masquerade as love or responsibility, yet underneath, they can be patterns of self-abandonment. We lose touch with our own needs, boundaries, and natural rhythm.
This session is an invitation to come home to self-honouring presence. To gently unlearn the ways we’ve carried too much, said ‘yes’ when we meant ‘no’, or taken on burdens that were never ours.

Self-honouring presence as the root of authentic connection
Shifting from abandonment to alignment
Why This Matters
Many of us were raised to equate care with self-sacrifice or responsibility with carrying more than feels right. While these patterns may once have kept us safe or loved, they now drain our energy and compromise our truth.
When we begin to unlearn overcare and overgiving, we rediscover balance, vitality, and a deeper kind of love — one that includes ourselves. From this place, our care becomes freer, lighter, and more genuine.
Who Is It For?
This session is for anyone who recognises themselves in patterns of over-responsibility, self-abandonment or “too much giving.”
You do not need to have attended previous sessions. Each Plug Back In gathering is a complete experience designed to meet you exactly where you are.
